Why choose Qowlor Homes?
Qowlor Homes was established out of our founders’ passion for working with people and it shows in our culture. Our resident-centered approach ensures allows us to create a home-like environment in which our residents thrive and are able to reach their full potential.
How trained are your staff?
All our staff are carefully selected for experience, competence, and passion for our work. We also go out of our way to exceed state-mandated competences for each position
Is transportation provided?
Trained staff provide transportation to doctor’s appointments, family visits and community events.
Are residents allowed visitors?
We encourage family and friends to visit. Our visiting hours are 8am – 8pm every day. Families or guardians provide us a list of approved visitors. It is important to note, however, visitation is at the discretion of staff based on the behavior of the resident and the behavior of the visitor.
How do you manage medication?
Our trained staff supervise and administer medication based on physicians instructions. They remain in contact with physicians to ensure residents are up to date. All medication is kept under lock and key and out of reach of residents.
Do you accept private insurance?
Qowlor Homes accepts AHCCCS and most major private insurance.
Are residents allowed to join their families for outings? (Lunch, church, shopping)
Participation in family outings is based on each individual’s treatment plan. Like visitation, family outings are at the discretion of staff, the behavior of the resident and the visitor. Overnight trips for birthdays, holidays or other special events will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
